AmericanWarrior relies on the passionate support of many dedicated individuals who help raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid to support our Day of Honor, Veteran and Patriotic operations. Remember every $250 ensures a World War II Veterans final wish, to visit their memorial before it’s too late, is a reality.

You can assist AmericanWarrior throughout the country by doing what you love! Examples of different types of events are below, but don’t feel limited by them – we get creative new ideas for fundraisers every day and we’d love to hear about yours and help you any way we can.

  • Trip sponsor for $10,000 your logo goes on our shirts, trip banners and flyers
     
  • Homecoming sponsor for $5000 your logo is the featured sponsor of the Connecticut homecoming event with 1000 people
     
  • Bus sponsor for $2500 your logo or information be the featured sponsor on Normandy, Midway and Omaha busses.
     
  • Event sponsor for $1000 you will be the featured sponsor at the annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance event
     
  • Join Team MAD 2010 Run for Veterans
     
  • Raffle or online auction
     
  • Golf or Bowling Tournaments

AmericanWarrior volunteers selling AW pins at Frito Lay Volunteer, Plainfield Reason to Ride and other patriotic events

Students and PTO from Wolfpit Elementary School, Norwalk CT, selling plastic AmericanWarrior bracelets
 

Debbie McManus and the Norwalk Community hosting a Veteran fundraising and application drive night at Partners Cafe & Pizzeria (Owners Debbie and Tommy Spinola provided entertainment, food and soda)

CableVision, A&E, Lt Governor Fedele and AmericanWarrior honor 200 Veterans at Goshen and Morris Elementary schools.

  • In 2009 inspire 500 students in Bridgeport. CableVision donated $7500 and A&E donated $1500 in support of AmericanWarriors patriotic Operations.

Perez Memorial Golf Tournament:

  • Mr. Perez in Honor of son who died during combat operations in Iraq sponsored 12 Veterans with a $3000 donation

Compass Group, Eurest and Northeast Utility Veterans

  • Meals Read to Eat (MRE) chef challenge raised over $4500 and then received 3rd place nationally for $2000
     

BAE Systems in Virginia raised $3000 with a antique car show to support World War II Veterans
 

Third Annual Pearl Harbor Remembrance Benefit Fund Raiser at Patner’s Cafe Norwalk and Harp n Dragon, Norwich CT raised over $4500

 

SCHOOLS AND STUDENTS:

  • Students to complete thank you letters and cards for World War II Veterans
     
  • Participate in a Welcome Homecoming parade or a World War II Veteran Homecoming at Bradley Airport
